- My first post of 2011 so I had better make it a good one. Last night was excellent, went to the pub with friend's and then to one of their family's house parties which sounds a bit boring but it was good fun. I'm glad it wasn't a really wild new year and was more relaxed as I hate to imagine how much I would have suffered today. Apart from laying in bed until 3pm and having a slight headache I felt pretty fresh which was good considering I was mixing my drinks last night, which usually doesn't end well.
- I'm not one for resolutions but I feel that I need to buck up my ideas. Starting with revision as my exams are starting in just over a week and I'm so unprepared its unreal. My drive to get into university is growing along with the need to do well in exams which means only one thing - I have to work my arse off. I'm lucky that I only have one subject to do, as I have struggled the past two years when I had 3 sets of exams to revise for. Tomorrow I'm going to prepare revision and then my last two days off (Monday and Tuesday) before returning to sixth form will be solid revision. I've got into the swing of not doing work and just doing things as they come along so I'm hoping that returning to sixth form will sort this problem out and get me back into a routine where I make time for work.
- One of my other resolutions is to be healthier. I've been neglecting healthy food over the festive period and I've noticed that I've just felt so tired and grumpy which I think may be due to me not eating healthier. I'm also going to start an exercise regime once I buy an exercise game for the Kinect, as the exercise DVDs I bought last year don't really encourage me to work out as they are rather boring.
- Tomorrow evening I am going to my friend's house as she is cooking tea. This sounds very grown up compared to what we usually do but I am hoping we will end up at the pub afterwards so we can attempt to win the pub quiz again..plus I'm fancying some of the cocktails they sell. This is going to be my last bit of serious fun until the end of the exams as I really do need to sort myself out and become serious about what I'm doing.
- I also think that I should resolve to become a tidier person...my bedroom is unbelievably untidy. I can't see the floor at the moment for clothes...and then I wonder why my wardrobe is empty. I think my brain lacks the organisation part as it definitely isn't my strong point.
- I'm off to bed now with Bridget Jones's Diary (the book) which I aim to read very quickly so I can watch the film tomorrow...although if I don't it can be a treat for myself when I do revision. Night guys and happy new year!
