Tonight's plan was a nice quiet meal with my psychology girls in Yates'. We hadn't even got there before deciding to join the lads and go to the German Market afterwards. Whilst eating we were informed that the queues were large and it was "rammed" so we decided to stay in Yates' for a tequila or two. Got given a free tequila neckerchief and a tequila shot glass so we weren't complaining. I did complain at the German Market though, it was £10 for a litre of beer (not even 2 pints!!!) and you only got £3.50 of it back if you handed your glass back in. I know they can charge that because people are stupid enough to pay it but it is actually ridiculous.
Earlier on in the day I went to Castleford (worst place ever) to visit family. Wetherspoons for breakfast was rather good! Teacakes and orange juice for about £1.20...absolute bargain. Afterwards we went into the town centre and as we were walking I noticed out of the corner of my eye, the next instalment of the Shopaholic series in a charity shop window. After purchasing that I began a mad spree through all the charity shops and bought another 7 books (for around a fiver which was a bargain!) to add to my never ending "to read pile". At least it gives me more things to review on here so it's all good in the long run. I really want to find somewhere to sell all my books seeing as I have 3 full boxes of decent books that have only been read once, that I refuse to give to charity or throw away considering the amount of money I spent on them. It's a shame that on eBay and Amazon you don't get much money for books otherwise I'd go crazy on there with them all.
Speaking of eBay, several of my listings end tomorrow and they all (but two) have bids on the so I'm definitely going to get quite a bit of money. I received my cheque from the mobile recycling company today so that's some more money to add to my account, this being unemployed business is actually making me richer than when I had a job.
